Also known as "best-practice" simulations, scenario simulations are used to build leadership, project management and sales capabilities. The simulations leverage decision tree structures in realistic case settings, enhanced with text, audio, still photography and video. Participants read and observe real-world business situations in the simulation, and they then have the opportunity to react to the issues presented. The participants must choose a course of action, and the simulation immediately presents the impact of the users’ decisions on their ultimate goal.

Factoid: In 2006, BTS launched a version of its “Project Leadership Live” simulation, translated fully into Chinese!

Board simulations are “board games” that represent a company’s operations and simulate its business. During the simulation rounds, participants literally pick up and move “money” chips through the different areas of their company. This hands-on approach allows participants to visualize the cash flow cycle in action.

Engage Maps create opportunities for large numbers of Executives, Managers, and Employees to understand the reasons for organizational change and to experience its implications. Through jointly developed pre-designed formats, these maps assist participants in transitioning to the organization’s new environment and allow them to try out new behaviors.

Our numerical and scenario web-based business simulations lead participants through a modular program with specific learning objectives. In these computer game-style programs, the user experiences customer-specific business situations. The user is able to set his own pace as he propels forward through the simulation.

Virtual Tournaments are dynamic simulations conducted via the internet. Various companies participate in these open or in-house tournaments, in which  teams of 3 to 5 participants compete with one another. The ultimate goal for all participants is to enhance their business acumen within a dynamic and competitive environment.

Factoid: Virtual Tournaments give the learner the same experience as a 2 or 3 day classroom simulation but delivered virtually using the internet and conference calling.
