Who we Seek
We currently seek an experienced Flash programmer with in-depth knowledge of
AS3 and Object Oriented Programming techniques for building our new generation of business simulation
and on-line learning platforms.
Good familiarity with AS2 is required and experience with online learning,
simulation and/or game development is a definite plus.
BTSinteractive (or BTSi) is the global online/virtual/mobile learning group
within BTS, the world leader in simulations and experiential learning. BTSi designs, develops and
delivers online/virtual/mobile solutions and scenario-based simulations for clients around the world
through its primary design and development centers in Philadelphia, Stockholm and Bilbao. Our solutions
benefit clients in areas of strategic alignment, business acumen, leadership and sales.
Responsibilities include
- Work with BTS Account Managers to assess and identify client needs in the online and virtual
learning space
- Work with internal designers to develop and implement new solutions for our clients
- Establish strong working relationships with existing clients in a variety of industries
- Serve as primary project contact for client including managing the project from inception
through execution
- Manage a portion of the BTSi solution portfolio
- Master existing BTSi solutions
Technical Skills Required
- Flash
- Action Script 2.0, AS 3.0 in particular
- Object Oriented Programming Background
- Design Patterns
- Front End Flash Development
- Understanding of Flash Design
- Sense for what constitutes good usability
- Ability to create/tweak animations and graphics
Technical Skills Desired

- Bachelor's Degree

Ideal Candidates will have
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of 4-5 years experience in corporate learning with a focus on
online/virtual/mobile learning and simulations, as well as scenario-based simulations
- Superior client relationship skills and the ability to work with and meet the needs
of a wide variety of clients
- Demonstrated understanding of discovery-based online and virtual learning solutions
- Ability to effectively sell ideas and concepts
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
- A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial
environment
Our team is global, so working with colleagues virtually, across time
zones, is common. Our team members are located in Philadelphia, Stockholm, San Francisco, Bilbao,
Australia and New York. Interest in working abroad for shorter or longer periods of time is an
advantage, but is not a requirement.
