Who we Seek

The world leader in board simulations seeks a business savvy, entrepreneurial Board Development Manager for our largest market, the US. You will be responsible for building an organization and overseeing all US board-based sales, development and delivery activities. You and your team will be expected to research and interview clients, conceptualize solutions and build customized board-based training solutions based on specific client needs, while also capturing and implementing best practices. You will proactively work with account managers to identify sales opportunities and drive marketing activities to grow the business. Our preference is for the team to be located centrally in our Chicago office; however we are willing to consider candidates who prefer to work in New York or San Francisco.

Responsibilities include
  • Lead all aspects of US board simulation development including managing resources
  • Board-based business simulation design and construction including
  • Client interviews and presentations
  • Company and industry analysis
  • Financial Modeling
  • Writing of participant and facilitator materials
  • Proactively work with account managers to identify and close sales opportunities
  • Knowledge management including establishing best practices and sharing innovations across BTS globally
Ideal Candidates will have
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced Instructional Design Degree Preferred)
  • 4-7 years experience in business/financial acumen training and development
  • Leadership/managerial experience a plus
  • A solid understanding of finance and strategic business issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively and articulate concepts to all levels of an organization
  • A knack for solving problems and puzzles
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills with a fluent command of the English language
  • An acute drive to learn and grow
  • A mature, professional, team player demeanor
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30% at times)
