Who we Seek
We currently seek a Director of Online/Virtual/Mobile Learning for our office in Philadelphia, PA.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing the BTSi team, leading client projects, conceptualizing solutions and supporting
new business development within the BTSinteractive (or BTSi) brand. In addition to managing day-to-day operations for the BTSi
team, you will work creatively with both clients and designers to assess client needs and develop and implement online learning,
virtual learning and scenario-based solutions. You may also take a role in managing a portion on the BTSi solution portfolio.
BTSinteractive (or BTSi) is the global online/virtual/mobile learning and scenario-based simulation group
within BTS, the world leader in simulations and experiential learning. BTSi designs, develops and delivers online/virtual/mobile solutions
and scenario-based simulations for clients around the world through its primary design and development centers in Philadelphia, Stockholm
and Bilbao. Our solutions benefit clients in areas of strategic alignment, business acumen, leadership and sales.
Responsibilities include
- Manage day-to-day operations and oversee the BTSi team including several direct reports
- Work with BTS Account Managers to assess and identify client needs in the online/virtual/mobile learning space, as well
as scenario-based simulations
- Support sales efforts in solution concept and proposal creation including online demos
- Work with internal designers to develop and implement new solutions for our clients
- Establish strong working relationships with existing clients in a variety of industries
- Serve as primary project contact for client including managing the project from inception through execution
- Manage a portion of the BTSi solution portfolio
- Master existing BTSi solutions
Ideal Candidates will have
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of 7-10 years experience in corporate learning with a focus on online/virtual/mobile learning solutions
and/or scenario-based simulations, with team management experience preferred
- Superior client relationship skills and the ability to work with and meet the needs of a wide variety of clients
- Demonstrated understanding of discovery-based online and virtual learning solutions
- Ability to effectively sell ideas and concepts
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
- A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
