Who we Seek
We currently seek Leadership Practice Consultants for our offices
in Chicago, IL and San Francisco, CA. Working collaboratively with BTS Account Managers, this individual
will be responsible for growing our leadership practice by developing strong relationships, conceptualizing
and facilitating new learning solutions and becoming a trusted advisor to our clients.
Responsibilities include
- Strategically sell leadership and management solutions
- Earn the role of trusted advisor as a thought leader for leadership and management solutions
- Enable our clients to execute their visions and strategies through BTS solutions
- Demonstrate and communicate the philosophy of BTS leadership solutions emphasizing how BTS offerings
will accelerate client business results
- Identify and close new sales opportunities in existing BTS accounts and at new clients
- Exceed revenue and profitability goals
- Effectively write and communicate proposals for prospective clients
- Facilitate new learning programs
- Design new learning solutions and programs:
- Interview executives and others in client organizations to identify desired business results, behavior
change, skills, and knowledge
- Conceptualize new custom, discovery-based learning solutions
- Master existing BTS solutions
Ideal Candidates will have
- Bachelors degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15-20 years talent management or learning and development leader experience, director or above experience preferred
- Alternative to L&D or HR experience, experience selling consulting or training to large and small companies in a variety of industries
- Experience with HR transformation and/or experience leading a department or business unit preferred
- Demonstrated leadership achievement
- Ability to identify and address the needs of senior level executives and business leaders
- Business-results focus, with quantifiable examples for companies worked for in the past
- Passionate about learning and development
- Passionate about the art and science of sales
- Some design skills and ability to impact map
- Ability to sell a vision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Willingness to travel (30%) but will be higher in the first year due to training
