Learning Developer/Project Manager

Who we Seek

We currently seek a learning program developer in Scottsdale, Arizona to adapt custom, discovery-based learning solutions. As part of small teams, the learning developer works with various internal team members and external customers. The learning developer also supports sales activities led by account managers throughout the U.S., and the ability to travel is a requirement. We seek an ambitious, engaged individual who wishes to grow and advance with BTS.

Responsibilities include
  • Adapt learning solutions to specific clients
  • Interview executives and others in client organizations to identify issues and needs
  • Research industries, companies, and best practices
  • Write case studies, scenarios, and other materials that match the reality participants experience in their jobs
  • Develop instructions for learning activities
  • Write facilitator guides
  • Convert design concepts into program outlines and proposals
  • Support development of proposals
  • Participate in client meetings, document outcomes, and manage follow-up
  • Work collaboratively with team members to sell, develop, and deliver learning solutions
  • Act as project manager for projects assigned and others as needed, including: managing/expediting timeline, managing revenue and costs, project update and status reporting, managing scope, assuring timely production and shipping of materials, and assuring quality standards are met

  • Familiarity with the selling and development of experiential/discovery-based training content
  • Curiosity about how businesses run in different industry sectors
  • Demonstrated planning skills
  • Familiarity with research and thought leadership in the areas of sales, management, and/or leadership
  • 2-3 years of work experience with concentration in business or technical writing
  • Willingness to travel (30% of time)
  • Ability to locate in Scottsdale, Arizona
