Community Offerings through Avocado Vision

In March 2015, BTS acquired AVO Vision, a leading South African company focused on corporate and community learning and development. (In 2017, AVO Vision was sold to another company that better fit AVO Vision’s business model, but BTS still has part ownership of the organization.)

AVO Vision operates in the communication, learning, and development space, empowering clients to become great leaders and communicators by giving them the tools necessary to accelerate their individual growth. AVO Vision's core offerings include programs designed to support and further build people's leadership, management, self-mastery and sales execution skills.

Two of AVO Vision's key offerings include:

Footprint - Financial literacy and other life skills training delivered in urban and rural communities countrywide. This program utilizes innovative bottom-of-the-pyramid delivery methods, leveraging in house trainers to grow micro-enterprise training companies, which deliver image-based learning content in local languages. Pricing in this channel is very compelling, enabling corporate organizations to increase the impact of their budget.

Greenhouse - Practical, basic money management and business decision-making skills are delivered to micro enterprises in communities across South Africa. As with Footprint, innovative distribution models are utilized to ensure empowerment, sustainability and effective delivery of the solutions.
