BTS, a leading strategy implementation firm, and Repsol, an integrated global energy company, have received an honor from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) for “Excellence in Practice” in organizational development. Repsol’s PRISMA initiative for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), developed with BTS was selected as a highly commended case for 2013. The esteemed EFMD award program recognizes outstanding and impactful learning and development partnerships in areas of leadership, professional, talent, and organizational development.
Repsol partnered with BTS on the PRISMA initiative to accelerate execution of their HSE vision by aligning leaders to the strategy and building the capabilities and mindset required for strategy execution. Together, the companies created a customized learning and execution journey aimed at changing the convictions, attitudes and behaviors of 2,400 Repsol leaders chosen to spearhead the company’s HSE cultural change.
"This course is just what we need to make the "click" required to execute! As soon as I get back to my office, I will have 14 members of my team take part in this course," commented a Repsol participant. “Thanks to the ongoing, close cooperation of Repsol personnel in every country, we have achieved a programme that closely reflects the real situation in all business units worldwide. We all feel very much involved in it”.
As a result of the workshop, participants developed the skills and capabilities needed to lead effectively and gained a clear and practical understanding of the current strategy and how they were responsible for contributing to it.
