SINGAPORE – HP Inc., a global provider of personal computing and other access devices, imaging and printing products, and related technologies, solutions and services, and BTS, a global strategy implementation firm, won a coveted Gold for Best Inclusion and Diversity Strategy at 2020 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.
This award recognizes HP for execution upon its Inclusion and Diversity strategy and receives acknowledgement for ‘Developing Diverse Leaders’ Journey that was designed and developed in partnership with BTS. The journey addresses natural biases that arise with societal norms and is driven to engage and develop leaders, own and drive belonging in the workplace and develop leadership skills to be an effective role model.
“HP has a long-standing tradition of embracing diversity and inclusion that starts from the very top.” Said Sowjanya Reddy, Head of HR, Greater Asia at HP. “In a region that is so diverse, we want to help our aspiring leaders to learn more about themselves, develop skills and enable behaviors that will help them to become a better leader in HP and subsequently role model how a diverse leader can be successful in HP. We want our leaders in this region to bring their unique self and diversity with them so that HP can become ‘richer’ because of our diversity.”
‘Developing Diverse Leaders’ received tremendous support from global, regional and local senior leaders throughout the seven months. The journey consists of a series of interventions tied to HP’s business objectives, and measured impacts on individual behaviors and capabilities, business outcomes and strategic goals.
“We are proud to partner with HP on this journey, and to be working alongside an innovative, global organization with commitment to diversity and inclusion efforts and their people.”, shares Patrick Fei, Executive Vice President and Asia Managing Director at BTS. “It truly displays the impact it has created and the importance of what we do in enabling strategy execution and people to do their best work.”
